Hyaluronic Acid: Similar to glycerin, it has the unique ability to hold in moisture (1000 ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid). In other words, Hyaluronic acid is also a “smart nutrient” as it can adjust its moisture absorption rate based on the humidity—relative to the season and the climate.

Allantoin: Is considered an ultra effective moisturizing ingredient both its gentle, and non-irritating qualities make it an excellent addition to for those with sensitive or easily irritated skin. Additionally, allantoin is a known keratolytic, meaning that it can increase the water content of cells while also aiding in the process of desquamation of the outer layers of skin.

Pea Extract: Is rich in protein, and it also contains essential amino acids, calcium, iron and potassium. In addition, this extract has vitamin B6, folate and vitamin C, all three of which are excellent at counteracting the free radical damage that drains elastin proteins and collagen from the skin.

DL Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B): Is present in all living cells, which makes it the perfect ingredient for a skin nourishing aftershave balm! This stuff is SUPER PENETRATING; When panthenol is applied to the skin it results in a conversion to pantothenic acid; this acid is readily absorbed by the skin, penetrating deep into the lower layers.

MSM: The abbreviation for methylsulfonylmethane, MSM is found in all living organisms and is formed organically of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur. In the human body, it acts as the “glue” that holds together our amino acid chains – aka the building blocks of all tissues.

Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO): Is made from regular coconut oil – but it’s only a fraction of what coconut oil is (hence the name, of course). While regular coconut oil contains long-chain fatty acids, fractionated coconut oil has had these fatty acids removed via processes called steam distillation and hydrolysis. All that remains now is the medium-chain fatty acids; also called medium-chain triglycerides. This is why fractionated coconut oil is often called MCT oil since it only contains medium-chain fatty acids.

Olive Squalane: Is a high purity vegetable Squalane obtained from Olives. Well known as Nature's Facelift, Olive Squalane is a botanical lipid that mirrors human lipids in molecular structure. The Olive Squalane is the plant-derived alternative to the animal-derived (shark liver oil) of the past.
